The far reaches of Colonial Space are populated with numerous Mining Ships. These mobile rigs make the journey out to ore rich asteroids and planetoids to supply the Colonies. These vessels simply fly in and land where the ore is and deploy as a quick prefabricated base. With the Fleet cut off from any base of supply, these vessels are an invaluable resource in acquiring metal ores for fabricating both weapons of war and basic goods as well as mining the precious and vital Tylium that powers the Fleet.
